A Cake for Church

I belong to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at church we have different programs, my mum asked if I could decorate a cake for the "Priesthood Prieview"night which is part of the Primary Program.  She loved the 1st cake for Kaylah's party and requested that I did the edges in rolled fondant and use blue instead of pink.

** she brought an iced slab from coles for me to decorate **

Kaylah's 6th Birthday Party #2

Here is Kaylah's 2nd Cake for her 6th Birthday Party with Family.

I wanted to have a different design from the first one.  This was also my first of many solo cakes!

Thomas' 30th Birthday

This is my husband's 30th Birthday Cake.

When I asked him what his favourite colour was he said "black", and so I asked him for a 2nd colour and he said "white"! hehehe

After I found the design I had a lot of fun staying up with my sisters Kristel & Lyndel to decorate the cake.

Kaylah's 6th Pinkalicious Birthday Party

What is a Pinkalicious Party I hear you say??? Well... its when everything is in PINK!!!

Kaylah's 6th Birthday cake - the first "professional" looking cake.

While I didn't bake the cake I had heaps of fun decorating it and even ropped my sisters into helping me!

*this party was also a going away party with her friends from school as we moved from the Gold Coast to Brisbane.

Cake Pops!

My 2nd lot of cake pops I made were for a fundraiser at church to raise money for the youth.

I was told they sold the fastest out of everything else there!

They were a great "practise run" for Kaylah's party :)
